March Monthly Challenge – Luck O’ The Irish

March Monthly Challenge - Luck O' The Irish

This PL layout was inspired by Catherine and Cathy Create. We were challenged to create something keeping St. Paddy’s day in mind. I had these wonderful pictures of Isabella. She dressed up for St. Paddy’s Day for daycare and they made crowns. Isn’t she just the cutest?

Pop on over to Catherine and Cathy Create and see all the amazing talent and probably you’ll feel inspired to join this months challenges.

Another Easter Card

Another Easter Card

I love my embossing folders for cards. For this one I embossed the card stock and them just dragged the ink pads gently over the embossing. Of course, that cute little owl is a Stampin Up punch (my absolute favorite item in my entire scrapbooking / card making stash). I made his 3-D wings from the cup cake punch from Stampin Up. Just had to fold the card stock and not cut through the folded edge. I love all my Stampin Up punches and look forward to getting many more!

I made this card using a technique I read about on Pinterest. I stamped the butterflies on the card and colored them with white crayon. I then dragged 2 different color ink pads across the card stock. I cleaned all the ink off the card with a paper towel. The ink came off the areas I had colored with crayon but stayed on the other areas. Quite a nice effect and very easy.

Donation to an auction for a 3 year old little boy from Eastporte who is battling cancer.

The last donation

I challenge everyone visiting my blog to look around and see if someone is in need of cheering up. Cathy Caines from Crop Circles mentioned that she was part of a group of ladies who send cards (anonymously) to people who need cheering up. Do you know of someone like this? The smallest gesture can make a very big impact on someone’s day. Sometimes people just need to know that someone else cares!

Cheers and have a great day!
