Thoughts of Christmas

Ok, so I know it’s still months away (3ish) but I just love making Christmas cards.  You’ll be seeing many more from me over the next while because I give out all homemade cards and who knows….maybe I’ll pass some along to some special people to give with gifts.  I have a few people in my family who love my homemade crafts.  Here’s one I made with the Stampin Up Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies.  I am absolutely obsessed with Stampin Up lately.

Paper Pumpkin starter kit from Stampin Up

I recently received my first kit from the Paper Pumpkin subscription by Stampin Up.  They had a 2 month introductory offer….$12.50 for the kit, delivered to your door.  Not bad hey AND it included ink, stamping block and 2 stamps….I thought that was just too good to pass up.  Here are the cards I have made so far.  Don’t ya just love the splatter stamp?

All About Cards

Well I’ve been engrossed in making cards lately.  Haven’t scrapbooked in quite some time but I’m like that.  I seem to concentrate on one thing and when I get sick of doing it…off to another activity I go!

I recently picked up some Tim Holtz Seasonal Kraft Core Embossed paper.  That stuff is simply amazing.  It’s so nice that putting anything on it almost seems like a sin of some kind.  It is stunning sanded down and inked.  Here are 2 cards I made with it this week.

Awhile back I entered a contest from the blog Catherine and Cathy Create.  I am totally in love with their new blog.  There are so many ideas and contests to enter.  How can one not like to win scrapbooking candy!!!!  Anyhoo, I WON.  I do not know if I was more excited to get my prize or meet with the most awesome Cathy Caines for a coffee.  Here is what I won!

ImageGreat prize hey!  I love the punch because I have a butterfly stamp that fits perfect and the stamp set….well, what an amazing Halloween layout I will be able to do with that!

That is all for now folks!  Have a great night!
