Another layout for Project Life

Isabella’s birthday was quite the grand affair.  It started with her mommy painting her finger nails and toe nails.  She was so interested in everything mommy was doing.  Last night when she saw this layout, she was so excited.  I saw her lid in the floor (I had the layout laid out for picture taking) and she was pointing out everything and talking about it.  I know someday she is going to love these albums.

Birthday photoshoot

So as many of you already know, I consider myself Isabella’s personal photographer.  I just love letting her run around and capturing her in all her happiness and of course the pictures come in quite handy when I want to scrapbook.  This is a photoshoot of her on her 2nd birthday!  She loved the little tu tu and the t-shirt her mommy bought her and was quite happy to let nanny take all the pictures she wanted.  Here’s the latest installment in her Project Life album.

More project life

I’ve been a busy beaver lately….lots of time spent in my scrapbook room.  Hubby will be home tomorrow so I’ll probably hang up the scissors for the next 10 days until he goes back to Alberta again.  I am still enjoying PL immensely and got 1/2 of Isabella’s book for last year done! Here’s my latest layouts!

I don’t have any PL kits but I am determined to use up some of the stuff I already have and with Simple Stories that’s pretty easy to do.  My layouts are pretty simple and clean so they’re perfect for a PL album.

Cheers & hope you have a fantastic day!

Isabella’s book for Project Life

This is some of the most enjoyable scrapbooking that I have ever done.  I always felt bad about having 4 or 5 (sometimes more) really nice pictures and only using 1 or 2.  I think the reason I am enjoying Project Life so much is that I can use alot more pictures (and journal of course) and really show the fun we had that day!  I have alot more pages to do for Isabella’s book and already I have a album bought for my youngest daughter and as she enters the new year I will be documenting all the wonderful experiences that 2014 has to offer her!

A “doodle” entry for Catherine and Cathy Create

Catherine and Cathy issued a challenge for January called “Doodle-ista”.  I am in full speed towards getting my very first Project Life album done.  I am so stoked about this style of scrapbooking because I love to journal and the Simple Stories paper is excellent for it.  I love how the scrapbook will be like a book when it’s done.  Here is my second page for July.  Come on over to:  http://www.catherineandcathycreate.com/2014/01/ccc019-january-monthly-challenge-doodle.html and see whats on the go.
